Rice's employees at United Way's Stone SoupLast November, Bryan Rice, president of Rice’s Landscapes Redefined, made a commitment. Each month, he and other employees would donate their time and ingredients to prepare hot meals for local area homeless families and individuals through United Way’s Stone Soup project. After successfully fulfilling his commitment, he’s decided to continue the project for another year.

Stone Soup is a yearly initiative by the United Way of Greater Stark County to provide hot meals to local area shelters and ministry organizations. They are a non-profit organization whose mission is to energize the community to care for one another by addressing human needs with measurable results. This includes improving the quality of life in our communities by leading in the development of solutions to critical social issues in the areas of health, education, and financial stability.

To date, Bryan Rice and his employees have donated nearly $745 in ingredients and approximately 30 hours preparing food that has provided around 600 hot meals to people in the Greater Stark County area.

We at Rice’s Landscapes Redefined look forward to continuing our partnership with United Way and helping them provide for area families.
